The Gates of Tai'mira

Tai'mira, home to the High Elves of Eldari forced by disaster flee to Tallendon. Now under the guidance and power of the High Lord Locke Desmoste, Tai'mira resides on the artificial island created by Locke over the font of powerful magical energy that once shot out from a rift in the ocean's floor. All that travel to Tai'mira peacefully are welcome, but those who would do harm will be dealt with accordingly. Access to Tai'mira can be achieved by ship, air, or by magical conveyance. Upon entering Tai'mira the sight of the main park stands before you and just ahead the Trade District.

Grand park of Tai'mira

The first thing anyone will see upon entering Tai'mira is it's huge park. This park was commissioned to be created by the High Lord, and is kept well tended by both magic and the grounds keeper. The park is a good example the of the High Lord's respect and love of nature. Anyone who tries to litter will find themselves teleported to the grounds keeper's lodge where they will be presented with a hefty fine to pay before they are forced to clean the entire park for the day.

Tower of the Arcane

This is the home of the Order of the Arcane within Tai'mira, and the location for the Academy of the Arcane. All members of the Order have living quarters within this tower as do the students who learn the magical arts here. It is said deep within the underground sections of the tower lies a vault containing various powerful magical artifacts and tomes but if this is true or not remains a mystery. All those who have attempted to look for it have never been seen from again.

The High Lord's Estate

The home of Tai'mira's High Lord, Locke Desmoste. Beautiful gardens surround the mansion while Locke's favorite hedge maze which surrounds the estate serves as the walkway to the large porch of the mansion. Those who get lost within the maze, don't worry Locke will eventually come to guide you out if your unable to find the right path. The maze is also kept safe by magic, preventing evil creatures from taking up residence within.

Cathedral of Tai'mira

The Cathedral of Tai'mira, built in memory of Eldari as it had once been before the dreadful plight which forced the citizens of Tai'mira to flee their homes so long ago. Pristine walls of white marble and stained glass windows make up the outside of this cathedral. All those of good alignment no matter which deity they worship are welcome within the sacred halls of the cathedral. Evil can not enter however, for if it does the powers of good will strike it down and destroy it. Weddings are fequently preformed here by the Cathedral's priests and are always beautiful to behold.

Silver Frost Tavern&Inn

The Silver Frost, One of Tai'mira's oldest historical landmarks. While it is true the Silver Frost is looking for someone to fully run the place, it's doors are still open. Inquiries about purchasing the Silver Frost can be brought before the High Lord.

Trade District

Shops line every street within the Trade District, and in the central square lies the Marketplace filled with stalls and pushcarts with various goods and of course food. Merchants seeking to purchase a permit to sell their goods within Tai'mira may speak to the High Lord. They can also purchase a space within the marketplace or a shop from him as well.

Mystic's Storefront

Shops containing magical items, weapons, trinkets, potions, tomes, and various other things can be found within this district of Tai'mira. Merchants wishing to setup shop within this District must speak with the High Lord for a special permit to sell their goods, and be willing to have their goods inspected by a member of the Order of the Arcane to check for safety and quality of the items. There are plenty of unoccupied shops within the district which can be purchased from the High Lord.

Tower Square

This is where Tai'mira's advisory council meet and it is the location for Tai'mira's most powerful magical artifact which sits atop the Tower of Light. This artifact is guarded by several magical enchantments which can not be removed by anyone save the High Lord. The tower is also the home of Tai'mira's guardian and friend of the High Lord, Silvaria Eldaria the colossal Gold Dragon. The guild houses of Tai'mira can also be found within the tower square.

Warmaster's Quarter

The finest weapons and armor can be found within the Warmaster's Quarter, each as unique as it's maker. Blades, Guns, Bows and Arrows, Staves, Explosives, Speciality Crafts, Shields and various armors. It can all be found here! The prices are good, and the quality excellent. Those wishing to have armor made from exotic materials can always find craftsmen willing to work their skills for them. Craftsmen and Merchants wishing to setup within the district need to purcase a permit from the High Lord and a space to setup in.

Technologist's Quarter

Technology is rampant within this District. Everywhere machines both complex and simple can be found, both big and small. Some devices even use magical properties to power them. Inventors can setup thier workshops here once purchased from the High Lord, and all permits to sell their inventions as well. This is one of the High Lord's favorite places within the city and he will when time allows drop by to visit the various workshops here. The district is also home to the Tai'miran Elemental Brewery and both of Tai'mira's shipyards.

Residential Quarter

All of Tai'mira's citizenry live within this district. One can also find the Silver Frost Tavern&Inn here though it seems it is up for sell now that it's previous owners no longer run the place. Anyone wishing to inquire about purchasing the Silver Frost may speak with the High Lord about the price though since the traven is of historic value the name can not be changed, and any additions to the Silver Frost must be permitted by the High Lord before they can be built.

Dueling Circle Center

Welcome to the Tai'miran Dueling Circle Center. Any fighter looking for someone to challenge or to be challenged by can always find someone here. Fighters can access any of Tai'mira's dueling circles from here. Anyone killed in a deathmatch can be brought back here for ressurrection if arrangements have been made to do so. Fighters may also sign up for the various tournaments which take place within the Dueling Circles.

Dueling Circle: Air

The Dueling Circle of Air resides high above Tai'mira a top a enchanted grouping of clouds which form platforms for the fighters to duel on. These clouds are arranged in a perfect circle when viewed from above. The fighters dueling need not worry about falling from the Dueling Circle, since there are enchantments in place to slow your fall from the platforms. All duels must be in t1 style and deaths are not permitted unless both parties are in agreement. No one may interfere with the the Duels here to do so will tarnish their name and honor.

Dueling Circle: Earth

The Dueling Circle of Earth resides within an underground cavern near Tai'mira. Platforms have been arranged in a perfect circle over a large pit within this cavern. Falls from these platforms are slowed by enchantments within the cavern while lift platforms rise and lower to carry the fighters back to the upper platforms or into the pit. All duels must be in t1 style and deaths are not permitted unless both parties are in agreement. No one may interfere with the the Duels here to do so will tarnish their name and honor.

Dueling Circle: Fire

The Dueling Circle of Fire can be found in the Warmaster's Quarter over the great forge there. Platforms constantly move around over the top of the hot metal under them moving in a perfect circle around inside the forge. Fighters need not worry about falling into the hot metal due to the enchantments peventing that as well as the nature and size of some platforms. All duels must be in t1 style and deaths are not permitted unless both parties are in agreement. No one may interfere with the the Duels here to do so will tarnish their name and honor.

Dueling Circle: Water

Off the island city of Tai'mira lies the Dueling Circle of Water. Platforms made from spouts of water form a perfect circle. These platforms rise and fall occasionally and there have been cases of waterspouts forming to try and knock the fighters off from them. Fighters that fall from the platforms need not worry about drowning, new platforms will appear under them if they fall. All duels must be in t1 style and deaths are not permitted unless both parties are in agreement. No one may interfere with the the Duels here to do so will tarnish their name and honor.
