A Grand Entrance...

Out in the distance a silver mist can be seen approaching the tavern. Slowly a massive silver beast of great proportions steps out of the mist, slowly revieling himself. Standing there, A massive silver dragon standing over 150' tall, stands there for a moment flexing and unflexing his massive talons, the muscles in his arms and chest bulg with each new flex. Lord Dark Looks around the town, trying to see what has been going on. His silver eyes scan the area slowly looking for any welcome faces, only to find empty streets. Noticing that it is pretty late he heads over to the tavern were most of the town can be found at night. Finally ariving at the tavern, Lord Dark slowy ducks his head inside the tavern doors to see who is in there. He Grubles some about how small the doorway was and how he had been promised that it would be fixed by the next time he got home. Shaking his head slightly he closes his silver eyes, mumbles a few words in elven, and the doors grow to match his massive size. He walks into the tavern slowly, working his head from side to side, looking at everyone closly, then walks over to the fireplace and grumbles again. He closes his eyes once again, muttering a elven chant, then watches the fireplace grow to emense proportions. Satisfied with his doings, he Lays down slowly in front of the fire, floding his wings around his body and rest his head down while watching the door.

As he watched the door, outside lights suddenly threatened to encompass the fire lit room but such brilliance was just as quickly muffled by the appearance of a feminine silhouette. Her features muted by the contrast of light to dark, her green eyes glittered mischievously. She was unimpressed by what lay before her. As she carefully closed the door, her eyes fell upon the being’s crumpled figure. Realizing that the tavern would be an ideal place to rest, she strode past this so-called Lord without so much as a simple acknowledgment as to his existence. Instead, she wandered past the main room in which she had been nary noticed otherwise in search of sleeping quarters in which she might make sleep her friend once more.
Upon quick inspection, she finally settled on what appeared to be an unoccupied room. Closing the door and quickly locking it with a well-remembered spell of her own, she slowly undressed out of her black dress in favor of yet another flowing gown, this one untainted by the rain’s earlier fury.
Warm once more, she took a closer look at her new surroundings. A single bed sat wedged in the corner of the simple room, its covers illuminated by the overhead window whose dirty pane allowed the moonlight to cast its eerie, yet calming glow in streaks of pale light.
So much for a grand entrance, she thought as, nestled atop the wooden frame made comfortable by her own minor modifications, she drifted into the welcoming throes of unconsciousness.

He watches as this beautiful enchantress walks past him. He bows his head gently to her, then lays his head back down, watching the doorway. Eventualy he closes his silver eyes and fest by the slow burning fire and waits...
