As he walked from the inn to the palace gates, Jaden hummed to himself calmly. He planned to ask Cirdan to help him avange the deaths of his wife and their children. The only two children that he had lost track of were his son, JJ, and his daughter, Christina.
After a couple of hours, he came to the gates of the palace and stood there with his eyes closed. Memories of when he had first met Cirdan, and the people that he had been traveling with, flooded through his mind. One memory in particular made him fall to his knees: that of his second wife, the Huntress, and the times that they spent together.
After several minutes of kneeling there, he stood again and looked up at the palace with red eyes from tears that had, and were still, come. He passed the guards, only saying that he was there to see his friend, Cirdan, and that he had no ill intentions.
