The Transport Nexus, up until now was perhaps one of the most officiant ways to travel across the sea between Tai'mira and Tallendon, and quite rightfully so if one was in a rather big hurry to get somewhere. Like clockwork the portal would open allowing travelers in and out and then go about their business as normal. Every five minutes this would take place, and every five minutes the station would burst into life for just moments and then die down again like a steady wave. Well at least in the off season, as travel during the holidays became more hectic and crowded on both ends.

The time was seven minutes to the hour of three, and no one on staff in the station expected any arrivals for the next 2 minutes or so, and even then didn't really anticipate anyone stepping through, as travel today was unbearably slow, making many of the workers rather lethargic. It was then however, forty-five seconds after the clock struck two and fifty-seven, that the portal sprung open much to the surprise of many about to see it.

A spiraling plane of black ripped open, stunning many just by the mere contrast from the normal hues of the portal, but what shocked many was the mass of darkness that suddenly emerged from the abyss. What appeared to at first appear to be the silhouette of a man, soon began to grow detail as dark tendrils and vines pulled away from the form and back into the void behind it, revealing the traveler in his entirety.

Two mismatched eyes glowed slightly on the pale face of the man, one of beautiful azure, crystal and hauntingly beautiful in the light, where as the other was crimson, manically spinning in the black of the cornea, the entire eye framed by a rather ornate appearing scar, appearing as deep and dark as the void that he came from. Snowy white and lavender hues rained down about his visage, haphazardly, and the color great contrasted the Victorian like suit that he wore, that was shabby and ravaged, but dark in it's colors. With his pale lips painted into a smile, the man simply walked forward, down the steps of the platform as if nothing strange had just occurred, and began to walk towards the exit Tallendon station unquestioned, though simply stared at in astonishment and confusion. Who was he? Where did he come from exactly? And how did he get the portal to open off schedule? Such things would be answered soon enough, especially if the royal guard got wind of this unexplained appearance.
